Just been in the recording studios to record two new songs that I’ve written. Planning to release them as single track downloads. The way forward for sharing your music. More on this once I’ve sorted out digital distribution with CDbaby. Has anyone else started releasing their music as single tracks?

I will be performing Enter the World of Story at Explore Pickering Library, North Yorkshire, on Monday October 26, 2pm. Entry free but need to book a ticket. The show consists of me reading some of my stories and performing songs and music that I have written. I will be playing the hurdy gurdy and Appalachian Dulcimer to accompany my songs. It is my contribution to restoring Cante-Fable to the world. I will be reading from The Fidgit, Samuel and the Stolen Words, and The Room Between the Floorboards.
On October 15, starting at 6.30 pm, I have organised an event at Explore York Library. This is a York Author event and I am a member. For one hour about 12 members of York Author will be available to talk about anything at all relating to writing, books, poems etc. This will be on a one-to-one basis and will last an hour. The event is free. Just turn up.
I’m looking forward to doing an event with Joanna Ezekiel at York Literature Festival on Friday, March 27. We will be appearing at York Explore Library at 14.30, and will be reading from our books, written with Young Adults in mind. I will be talking about where I get the ideas from for my books, how I write them and how I go about publishing them. I look forward to meeting any other authors.
I am performing a half hour set of my own songs at York Winter Folk Day, The Black Swan, Peasholme Green, York, on Sunday. My set starts at 4.30pm. I will be singing three new songs including In Solidarity, a song I wrote for France. The lyrics were recently published in The Press, York. I will also be playing some newly written tunes on the hurdy gurdy.
